New Blog!!!

Well I took the plunge this winter and decided it was time for a fully customized blog. Lucky for me I had Zoe from Zoe Ink and Ross at Flosites to make it happen. I am really excited with what they came up with and hope you enjoy it! I've got a bit of catching up to do so I'll be adding more pictures soon!

Independence Day

I apologize, I have been a very bad blogger! It's all because I am very excited about my new blog, which is undergoing some final tweaks before it goes live. So stayed tuned for a new and improved blog. In the meantime here are a few pics from Independence Day in Israel the end of last month. We camped out on the beach about 45 minutes north of Tel Aviv. It was a great way to spend one of my last nights there and now I am back on Martha's Vineyard gearing up for the summer wedding season and some more frequent blogging!

WPJA Contest

I just saw the results of the most recent WPJA Contest and one of my favorite images from 2008 placed in the Cake Cutting category. It's an honor to be recognized alongside so many talented photographers that are a constant source of inspiration.

From Amsterdam with Love

We just returned to Tel Aviv last week after a few days in Amsterdam with my sister, her husband and their one-year-old daughter, Moxie. This was my first time visiting Amsterdam and I was totally taken with the city. It felt like something out of a fairy tale. In lieu of postcards, here are a few of my favorite shots posted with love. I'll be back stateside in six weeks!

Anne & Kurt : New York, NY

My first wedding of 2009 was unlike any other I've photographed. As Anne's daughter said during the ceremony, they are like the real life version of the Brady Bunch. In Anne and Kurt's case one and one makes seven, which made their wedding a wonderful celebration of family. From the touching speeches to the bustling dance floor it was an incredibly heart warming experience to photograph. Congratulations to all the members of the SL-7 clan and thanks for including me in your day!

Special thanks to Jen Davis for second shooting with me!
