I can't get enough of these two

A few weeks ago over a couple glasses of wine at Jessie's website launch party I suggested to Caroline that we take her dress for a spin around town. At first we weren't terribly serious, but then we got to planning! It all seemed like so much fun, everything fell right into place and it just so happened that this past Saturday, the day of the portraits, was the sixth anniversary of Caroline & Jeff's first date.

Jeff thought we were just talking crazy, but he humored us between reading articles in the Economist.

Thanks to Jessie for some more or her awesome floral creations and to Annie at the Union League Club for letting us do some pics there. I love the staircase!

I have no idea how that got there :-)

This is the first time I've done a post-wedding portrait session, but I could get use to it! It was a blast and it seems like the perfect solution for folks who don't want to miss a second of their party. Huge thanks to Stevan, stylist extraordinaire, and Kiva for hanging out with us all day!

Rountree Flowers

Rountree Flowers is live! I am so excited about Rountree's fabulous new web site designed by Reddish-Blue. If you are looking for fabulous flowers just click below and check out some of Jessie's incredible work. I've been lucky enough to do three weddings with Jessie of Rountree and each time her flowers take my breath away. Her creativity is endless and the flowers are always just right for the occasion. Of course I'm a big fan because I get such beautiful inspiring arrangements to photograph!

Nicole & John 4.05.08

Wow what a day! The forecast said rain, but Nicole and John had the most beautiful Spring day to celebrate their NYC wedding. I was feeling the love all around from their friends and family to the suprise guests. Caroline and Jeff were walking by the church just as we came out after the ceremony. It was such a treat to see some more smiling familiar faces! Ooo and I have to thank Anthony for the rockstar parking spot at the reception!

Jordan got this great shot of the guys hangin at the Coffee Shop on Union Square.

The ceremony was held at the Church of Our Saviour on Park Avenue.

Then we headed across town for the reception at Studio 450. It's a pretty killer place to watch the sunset and everytime I've been there the dance floor has been rockin'!

I love this pic that Sharon took. By way of brief introduction, Sharon was a guest at Caroline and Jeff's wedding in February. She came up to me on the dance floor and said "I've been watching you and your team work and I want in!" Welcome Sharon :-)

I can't go anywhere these days without meeting another wedding photographer! But I'd say Jacob was pretty happy to trade in his cameras for his dancing shoes.

I think it's safe to say a good time was had by all. Now I can't wait for Nicole and John to get back from their honeymoon, John said we could hang with the gang. Whoo hoo! For more pics check out the slideshow!
