Happy New Year!

I feel incredibly luckily to have worked with so many lovely people and to have been a part of such wonderful celebrations this year. I was really excited at the start of 2008, but it exceeded even my highest expectations. As this year draws to a close I am humbled and honored to do the work that I love and very excited about the coming year!

GiGi & Archie: La Bella Bride Magazine

I'm so excited about the new issue of La Bella Bride Magazine. GiGi & Archie's lovely winter wedding is one of the featured Love Stories and I had the pleasure of photographing some of the amazing talent for the editorial features.

For the editorial features, I met up with the La Bella crew at the Winvian in Litchfield Hills, CT. The Winvian is a charming hideway that seems to have sprung right out of a fairytale. Being there has such a calming effect I hardly felt like I was working. It's a great spot for a little break from city life and an absolutely divine location for a wedding!

David Beahm's "Upside Down Tree" table arrangement is a spectacular work of art!

I love this elegant arrangement by Wildflowers.

Flowers Rock had some awesome creations for tables and bouquets.
Check out La Bella for more beautiful creations and sweet love stories!

Kate & Curt: Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard

I love fall on the Vineyard. The light is awesome and the island is quiet. One of my friends described the Vineyard in the off-season like a movie set after the film has wrapped up. Just right for engagement portraits. I had so much fun photographing Kate and Curt last weekend all over Edgartown and on South Beach. I can't wait for their wedding in June!

Christy & Sean: Blue Hill Stone Barns

I felt like a kid in a candy shop on Christy and Sean's wedding day, which seems appropriate since it was on Halloween. The grounds at Blue Hill at Stone Barns are stunning and we could not have had a more perfect fall day to experience them. There were so many pictures I wanted to take, I could hardly contain myself. It's a little something like the photographic equivalent of a sugar high. Luckily, photos are one good thing you can never really have enough of.

Christy and Sean thank you so much for the opportunity to document your lovely day!

Preparation: Castle on Hudson

Hillary & Dwight: Southhampton, NY

Before I fell in love with photography, I was immersed in all things equine so when Hillary suggested photographing her and Dwight's engagement portraits on the farm where Dwight proposed, I was delighted. It was the perfect combination of two of my favorite things not to mention that we had an absolutely beautiful day and these two are tons of fun to photograph!
